Leftfield freaky dance music, bouncy riddims on micro sounds and weird vocals gestures. "Blue Lagoon" is a never-ending climax, fastly interrupted and then starting back, changing face but still breezing. Proposed as single track and coming with the instrumental version by Jazzoux (duo formed by Claire Gapenne and Amédée De Murcia himself), was reworked by Nebulo, Williams Fields and Undae Tropic, adding different ways to stretch, decompose and push the track.
Beside his main alias, Somaticae, Amédée De Murcia leads weird organic and rhythmic excursions filled with breaks and caught in a swarming bath of plastic melts sounds and scary artificial voices. As the author of numerous recordings and alias, flirting with adventurous electronica and a resolutely experimental-based approach, Somaticae mainly plays among the crowd, offering live sets filled with impactful and abrasive constructions.
Amédée de Murcia has attempted to numerous festivals and venues, among which can be named the UH Fest, Villette Sonique, Vision, Sonic Protest, Instants Chavirés, Ateliers Claus, Gaité Lyrique, Grrrnd Zero and Cave12.
Somaticae also takes part in OD Bongo a noise and bass music duo with C_C, in Balladur, an exotic pop duo as well as an electronica duo with Claire Gapenne from Terrine, named Jazzoux.
