Label Mix 002 comes from In Unison, a beloved leftfield electronic label based in Brussels. Longtime friends Victor Gybels and Lawrence McGuire founded i.u. in 2020 to release a compilation of music from their corner of the live coding music scene. However, the label quickly expanded its scope to encompass the fine-tuned musical tastes of its founders.
Now, eight releases deep, In Unison has released a series of captivating albums and compilations that strike a perfect balance between playful fantasy aesthetics, forward-thinking experimentation, and unconventional digital composition processes.
