Composer, producer, vocalist and artist Zora Lucent (aka Nora JaneMesserich), is set to release her latest album of ethereal, haunting electronica for voice, chamber classical instruments, percussion,and electronics with White Forest Records (Rome, IT) on June 13th, 2024.
Zora takes her music into more visceral and sonically defined territories with her second LP, “Astoria”. Exploring where the ancient and timeless meet the progressive and futuristic, the sublime meets the grotesque, and the human meets the nonhuman, Zora has constructed a sonic experience that captivates with a numinous strangeness and delicate ephemerality. She facilitates a gentle alchemy as she leads listeners into hidden andruminative places, unearthing her own with reverberations of ancestors and past lives. Zora’s affinity for darker colorings and delicate textures come together to form a sonic world that isdistinctively hers.
