This is Past Life Romeo’s first EP, entitled "You Look Just Like Me". It was written two years ago, when Cam was going through major changes in their life. It evokes intimate and introspective questions about change, self-image, gender and sexuality… If ‘Drew a heart <3’ explores teenage crushes, ‘Saliva’ and ‘Sometimes, Most Nights’ are more about break-ups, while ‘Past Life Romeo’ and ‘Parkingtsone’ evoke self discovery through gender and relationships. It’s a very bold hybridization of multiple genres and influences like Lorde’s pop, Charli xcx’s and Sophie’s productions, early M83’s soft rock and uk garage. The EP was fully auto-produced by Cam through their record label Secret Life Records, as the first milestone of their brand new project.
