Organic and electronic elements merge into a continuous sonic field, where extended bowing techniques generate complex overtone interactions, and synthesized layers reinforce the physicality of sound. Captured in a single take, this recording documents a focused improvisational process, balancing controlled tonality with the unpredictability of real-time modulation.

"Drones are one of my hobbies. I have a double bass and a bow, and two years ago, I used to escape from anxiety with those sounds [...] After some time, I bought a bass bayan (accordion), the same instrument as the accordion but with basses on one side. And it was an additional portion of a wonderful experience. Then, I produced a homemade soundtrack for a Dune that played in my home, in whatever tonality I wanted. Finally, I fell in love with this sound and began to understand the music that played at the concerts on Wednesday nights in the fall of that year. It occurred to me that I could play a drone concert with modular, which has such dense textures. And then I remembered that I had promised to record a live set @systemnapotvora [...] I assembled a basic setup for this task and produced this live rec in "one take". Now it looks like I will perform this live set [...] In the meantime, you can listen to my drone set for the Odesa-based @systemnapotvora. When I controlled the volumes I thought about Odesa and how great it would be to be there in the future, and I'm sure I'll be back there again someday." ~ @symonenkomusic
