There’s a relaxed, 90s trip-hop feel to this track that’s really floating my boat right now. dBridge is a legend of UK drum and bass, and you can feel those technical chops on display here, but there’s something else to this one, something creamier, more dialed-in, that makes it vibrate on a different sort of frequency. A short description calls it “Chilled out Auto pop,” which is fine by me, but those little synth flourishes and vocal swells would seem to aspire to something more organic, more human. Call it a heart—maybe even a soul?
