Infinite Body is the longstanding project of Los Angeles resident Kyle Parker. For over 15 years, Parker has traversed through various undergrounds, often outputting droning electronic music that gestures towards the transcendent. Parker’s newest album is called my bright abyss. It came out a few days ago—a day after the artist’s birthday—and it is 15 tracks of gauzy manipulated piano. It fits nicely into a larger lineage of restrained, spacious modern classical music. I’m going to bet that it will fit nicely into the rhythms of your day, too.
