Where are you based?

Amsterdam

Can you describe your label mix?

This mix is the fourth edition of a series we started in 2019. Every mix is 30:30 in length, is made up of unreleased or unfinished tracks by us and the people around us and is based on a loose narrative, structure or theme.

What inspired you to start a label?

We felt that people around us were all doing amazing music but weren’t necessarily releasing it anywhere. With Seedlink⁺, we wanted to offer them a low-key platform to make the publishing of music more accessible. It’s great that more and more people have started listening to the label’s output, which has made us able to meet and work with people outside of our direct circles.

Does your label have a sound or a mission?

The main aim of the label is to offer a distraction from everyday life for us and our listeners, and to combine our various interests into a single project, making fantasies into reality.

Tell us about your scene(s).

Our scene exists in the space between Amsterdam and the internet. On the one hand we feel our label functions as a way of forming a community with like-minded people in our city, but on the other hand showcasing our output on the web has allowed us to connect with people who we have maybe never met in real life. We love meeting fellow headphone music enjoyers.

What's your A&R process?

Our approach to A&R is very personal and we release music on a rolling schedule. We deeply value personal relations with the artists whose music we release and we always try to work together with them to make their music the best version it can be. Up until now, we’ve mainly collaborated with people based in the Netherlands, who we've invited to our studio in the north of Amsterdam…If you would like to get in touch, please send music to info@seedlink.plus :)
