"I'm Leaving Now" is a fictional story which starts in the aftermath of a tragedy. Our main character has passed away following a moment of instinctual heroism, but in the few minutes since his death, he finds that his consciousness seems to have remained. He describes his motivation for his actions, analyses whether they were correct, and watches how they have affected the people he left behind.
