First renditions of Flawed traces back to before the release of my first album in 2021. Doing sessions in my old conservatory with my guitarist Peter and keys player August. Its then been through so many changes, based on what’s happened in the shifts in my taste and things that’s happened in the course of my life these past 2 years.
The song is in that way all these abandoned rooms that resembles different times of my creative work, where Lecx’s contribution to the song really served as a missing piece in a puzzle. It’s funny how music is sometimes, reworking things over and over again, recycling it, turning things upside down, getting to a point where you feel every time you touch something it makes it worse, I knew I needed someone else’s voice on it for it to translate and tie it together. When I discovered Lecx music, I was overcome with excitement. I immediately knew that if he’d be down to work with me this could really make it special, and honestly as soon as he got the track it got finished so fast, it made so much sense for him to be putting the final touches on it.
