Struck by a mischievous disease, Andrés Ramírez would traverse the streets of Barcelona as a Chilean immigrant trying to find relief to a succession of numbers popping up in his head… This demonic calculations would take him out and torture him until he could finally develop a system to write them down.
This sound piece makes use of binaural techniques to accentuate the impression of movement of sounds around the listener’s ears, therefore listening on headphones is greatly encouraged.
Inspired by the testimony of a fictional immigrant on Roberto Bolaño’s novel The Savage Detectives.
