Primitive Art has created a composition inspired by a true event that occurred in the fall of 2020: the discovery of an object. As documented in the pages of their diary from the recording studio window, the band noticed something discarded along an artificial riverbank. Transformed by the shifting forces of the mud, this entity took on the appearance of a plastic toy, a long brass wind instrument, or even a fish, depending on the viewing angle. When they finally retrieved it, the object retained its enigmatic essence but revealed its latent potential as a musical instrument.
"Extract 1" has been specially designed to be experienced as a 'cinema pour l'oreille' piece, providing a hallucinatory headphone experience. Within it, recurring elements from the band's repertoire are accompanied by the auditory presence of this protean objet trouvé.
