Can you tell us about this track?

“Tudo na minha bct trance” started when I was making “Automotivos de Éter,” which was a more “ethereal’ take on Brazilian funk, with heavy inspiration from euphoric trance and hardstyle, as well as automotivo slide (a funk subgenre that uses lead synth samples as the main melody of the track). I was just making these tracks and messing with the BPM, not just the regular 130 we use for funk, and I don’t know, it made sense to make an ethereal trance type thing and release it as a one off. Low-key I’m addicted to making trance funk right now, so I guess look for an EP soon.

What's your process?

It depends. I guess I’m trying to make art for myself again, making whatever feels right. In reality, though, I always use the soft-synths Serum or Spire lmao. Heavy use of samples, too—sometimes I just wanna make myself laugh. Usually ideas come to me when I’m not producing, just living life, especially in clubs, I just be taking out the notepad app and writing stuff in the middle of the club.

Can you tell us about your scene?

I mean, the scene we have here in Londrina is kinda odd. People here love funk de sp, like to death. And the whole aesthetic. I guess being far from Curitiba and being closer to Sao Paulo, we have a different arrangement of influences than a regular Paraná city. Baile do pg is an example of that. And I love it, lmao, I go to every event. Club scene is kinda dead but not really, because funk is electronic music, so, yeah.

Online though, I love the scene right now on SoundCloud or funk in general. Like, I reside in a very small niche if you think about it, funk is so huge, like, there are so many different subgenres, it’s crazy. Humildes do soundcloud though makes me feel like I belong in some sort of community. Our whole SoundCloud scene right now in Brazil is so cool and I’m grateful to be a part of it.

Being chronically online, MW2 trickshot montages, OG Monstercat, Skrillex, chill baile SoundCloud era, dg sbe, ripsquad-type beats, funk bruxaria/automotivo/slide, sykors, rensgo, ICQ baby, jeeh fdc, dj guiizinho o alien.
