Name?

LAZA: Lázaro Uilgner, best known as LAZA.

Location?

São Paulo - Brazil.

Can you tell us about this track?

R: This track is a collab with my friend, the DJ and Producer Dry. We decided to mix elements of guaracha and funk bruxaria and sample some drums of the baile funk style tamborzão at 140 BPM.

What's your process?

My creative process is very intuitive and sentimental. I try to combine my feelings at the moment with the musical styles I'm obsessed with at the moment. I usually don't know what I'm doing, just messing around and experimenting.

Can you tell us about your scene?

I'm a versatile musical artist who likes to explore different rhythms and styles and discover what mixing them can do. In 2023 I started to immerse myself in the Latin core/Latin club scene, integrating baile funk, guaracha and techno into my productions. In Brazil this has become increasingly stronger on the dance floor. Latin America is very plural and has a huge number of aspects in electronic music and new styles are created every year. A sensual, dancing and hot scene.

Who are your biggest influences?

Tayhana, CRRDR, Clementaum, Dry, Maffalda, JLZ e PATIBULL.

Who's your favorite artist on Nina?

Agazero e ICQ BABY.

Any shoutouts?

I would like to increasingly contribute to strengthening the electronic music community in Latin America.
