These are majorly heavy flips of some recent singles from the downtown Manhattan artist Thoom, who’s great at channeling a certain kind of Y2K electrogrunge vibe. Thankfully, all three versions of “London Honda Nasty Taxi” manage to preserve the humor of the original track; as slick as the production is, the vocals are what give this song its energy. “American Terrorist” gets just one remix, from Frost Children, but they make it count. Traces of big-tent EDM? Sure, why not? The playfulness is the project’s strength: you get the sense these like-minded collaborators are up for whatever.
