Can you tell us about this track/release?
This was our first full-length album, recorded over a year in three different sessions at three different studios. The album is about our journey to find our own sound and essence. We really focused on capturing the aura and feeling that we want to achieve as a band.
What's your process?
As a band, we follow a more traditional path of rehearsing and playing songs together to create the final result. Usually, the three of us—a bassist, a guitarist, and a guitarist/singer —gather to create demos of the original ideas for the tracks before heading to the studio to record the final versions.
Tell us about the scene in Barcelona.
Barcelona is experiencing a very sweet moment in its music scene. Many new projects have developed in recent years, and with the boom of the new Catalan scene, many artists and bands have started to feel that it's possible to create all kinds of music in Catalan. In the past few years, we’ve seen a surge of new proposals and projects that, not long ago, would have been unimaginable in the Catalan language.
Who are your favorite local artists?
